Ice Out 2025

Welcome to 2025 Ice Out Guessing Game! This guessing game is a fundraiser for the Friends of Long Lake with a new twist! 50% of proceeds will go to Friends and 50% to the winner guessing the closest day and time for ice out.

How Does This Work? This is where we decide when and how. Blue raft with a goat, some trigger to allow to signal the date and time from a camera, etc.

How to Enter: Submit your guess to the Ice Out Contest by purchasing a ticket below. At check out, it will ask you to provide your Name, address, etc with the Date/Time of your guess. You may enter multiple times, but you MUST do this one per purchase.

Contest Period: The contest is officially open and will close on March 1st at 11:59 PM CST. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the excitement!

Updates and Website Posting: We’ll regularly update the website with existing submissions. While exact times won’t be published until the end of the contest, general time frames will be shared on the site, keeping the anticipation alive!

Judging Criteria: Ice out is declared when XXXXXXXXXX. The winner is the one closest to the judged time. Our committee, certified by the International Commission for Exactness (ICE), will make the final decision. Get your prediction in before the deadline and join the fun! 

Prizes!: The participant who has the closest guess, down to the minute, will win 50% of net ticket proceeds.
